Treatment to Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees

Our branch in Erbil provides psychological and medical, in two camps; Dibaga camp for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Qushatpa camp for refugees. 

These camps house over 16,000 people who would otherwise go without these services.

Human Rights Education for Children and Adults

As part of our Program for Democracy and Civil Society Jiyan Foundation provides Human Rights education to children in schools, IDP and Refugee camps.

At our branch in Kirkuk, we provide mental health, medical
treatment and other support services to survivors of trauma, terror, domestic violence and human rights violations. Our services include:

Syria

Jiyan Foundation – Syria is based in Qamishli. The office provides mental health care, medical treatment, and other support and relief services to survivors of trauma, terror, domestic violence, and human rights violations across northeastern Syria.

Syria Mobile Team

Qamishli’s mobile team provides psychological, legal, and relief to IDPs and locals in the region. Ongoing projects include providing food, clothing, medication and other relief to families struggling during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Germany

Jiyan Stiftung für Menschenrechte e.V. is based in Berlin. The office provides administrative, program development, and fundraising support to Jiyan Foundation’s operations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, federal Iraq, and Syria.
